We have tried to keep you informed on the new EWC Directive. However, the last article dates back to February 2023:
European Parliament approves revision of EWC Directive (February 2023)
But now, however, news came that the European Commission is expected to take a decision on the draft text of the new EWC Directive on January 16, 2024. This item is on the official agenda, which has already been published.
This will mark the start of the legislative procedure requested by the European Parliament in February 2023. The new Directive will probably not be definitively adopted before the European elections in June 2024.
Please check our website after January 16 for a follow up on this. Latest news: on January 16 it was announced that the decision has been postponed by a week.
